Mineral site question

    I started a mineral site last year but now that I’ve gotten to know the deers pattern a little better I would like to move the site. I know some guys are already replenishing their sites from last year….should I wait until the ground thaws to make the new site or can I start on it now?

    I would start now! The sooner they find it and get use to where it is the better in my eyes.

    I’d start it now if you are able to take out a shovel or something to breakup the sod and old vegetation. I’d throw some peanut butter in there too so they find it sooner.

    i would start now as well. when the snow melts and the ground gets soft they should be able to tear it up by themselves. im starting 2 new ones this weekend.
