    Head of the Lakes Resort

West Side of Vermillion. Many upgrades, nice cabins

Not sure of selling price but this place is “walk-in” condition. Not on open market.

There is one on Lake Darling by Alexandria, Barney’s on the Bowstring on the north end of Little Sand Lake and Island View Resort on Sand Lake, both in Itasca County. The two on Sand Lake are both nice resorts.

I got invite to chase tip-ups and jig for some pan fish with Mike Dan and Danielle (sp?)While it wasn’t fast and furious we caught a few and had a great time on the ice. Thanks again for letting me tag along F.Y.I. Mike caught a few also but was being camera shy

    Dan with a nice Bluegill

    Dan with a tiny Bluegill

Grass carp on a jig pole !

    Bait ! !

Dan showing Dannir how to set a tip-up

Mike saying she just won’t listen

    Mike learned from watching Dan

    Dannir with a snot rocket

Us “bigger” guys make fish look small

Just because I didn’t catch it doesn’t mean I can’t get a picture with it

Thanks for coming along Pat…we all had a good time! Sorry the fish wouldn’t cooperate very well but it’s hard for them to bite when you keep yelling at the stray dog tp get put of our food!!

Nice pics Pat! Although they don’t do justice, I thought they looked a lot bigger on the ice. Maybe if we had a better guide we would have brought home some fish today? Thanks for a good time, we’ll have to do it again.

Pat, a good guide never steals the spot light! Buy the way, how long did it take YOU to land that pike?

You also forgot to mention the new friend you made on the ice….Zoie the beagle!!

Very cool! Looks warm. Was -12 where we were ice fishing that day. Lots of different species too, that always makes it fun.

Take turns on the flags or first one to the tip-up?

Danielle took all the flags! She is greedy that way! If it was the 1st one to the flags then I would get them all! Takes Pat about 20 yards to work the kinks out before he can reach any type of speed!!
