It looks like it will be nice all week..and some of the nights hovering around 30. How fast do you think snow melts on a 40 degree day? Like an inch, two? I know it destroyed my Ice castle and snowman that I built for the boys yesterday afternoon!

I strategically places a few markers on my property and tied ribbons around them at the snow level. Hoping to see some relief for the deer over the next few days. I did notice the “ice” level from at the end of last year. If it can heat up enough to soften that it’ll be much easier for the deer to get around and find something to eat.

“A deer feeding ban covering Dodge, Goodhue, Olmsted and Wabasha counties will be effective Monday, Feb. 14.” I am right on the northern edge of the ban. I Hope and pray that they don’t find anymore that test positive for CWD

Pat, I don’t know what it is right now, but last night coming off Lake Tomahawk at 6:30 it was still 44!!!

Today was suppose to be colder, according to the NWS site it was 34 at 3:15 and according to the chart it was still 41 last night at 11:55. Supposed to be cold next week, but we can deal with that when it gets here!!!

South facing slopes have lost almost all snow and so have most of the fields. Just in time for 3 more inches on Sunday mother nature is such a tease

I am going for a hike today
