Just got back from Missouri on a hog hunt with a few of my buddies. Had a great time! Hog Hunting is fun and I was happy to take this @250lb’er Friday afternoon. Can’t wait to get back and shoot another one…

    Nice!

Pardon my ignorance, but what do you do with a hog? Are they as tasty as domesticated hog?

Tastier! A little leaner than domesticated hogs, excellent eating, especially the smaller variety (the ‘footballs’ are the best eating). I love hunting hogs, I try to make a trip a year to hunt them in South Texas. Trapping them, spotlighting them (perfectly legal in TX), or hunting them the old fashioned way, it doesn’t matter, I love killing hogs!

    Nice pig…
Is that a scoped slug shotgun you used? Is that by choice or is that Missouri?

I cant wait to hear how good the meat is. If its very good or better I dont see how these things are going to take over the country.
