I get to go on a hog hunt the first weekend in Feb. Don’t know all the details, but sounds like it get one hog and up to two bobcats/coyotes etc, etc…. Just a long weekend trip.

Good buddy ended up having some doctor appointments that he could not miss and asked if I wanted his spot. Best part is he paid the fee’s. If I connect, he gets half the hog

I heard today that a .357 pistol is not big enough. Thoughts????? Do I need to get my hands on a .44?

That’s going with too. I am hoping for a Thwack Attack, bringing the pistol for back up.

I would think a .357 would do the job, depending upon distance, of course. If you’re within arrow distance, a .357 should pack a pretty good wallop. I could be wrong, though.

I tipped one over a few years ago with my 30.06. Our guide was a big fan of shooting them in the head, that way they are either dead, or a complete miss. Made his job easier than going back into the brush for a wounded pig

    Have fun and good luck

7 for 11, I’ll send some pics next week. I’ve got a nice 160 lb boar in the cooler.
