Who’s hitting the woods today ? ?

It’s not all bad being tagged out I guess

I hear ya…-24 in Chippewa this morning. I guess it has to be -30 before they close schools! That -6 degrees really makes a difference I guess! Will not be hitting the woods until the weekend…some of us have to work you know!

Radio said that Sparta was the coldest place in the country this morning… Even colder than Fairbanks, AK.

I don’t miss working outside today

I remember 4 years ago, we left Bayfield heading North at 6am on snowmobile and 4 wheeler. Straight temp was -27°. We rode out about 9 miles and pounded the lake trout. We need this weather right now to get the ice on Lake Superior while there is no snow cover. Bring it on.

That makes the -4 this morning sound pretty warm here while I was out scouting for a few hours.

The old diesel was a little sluggish….

Only -12 this morning in Chippewa….makes 7 degrees feel like 70 though!
