I’m shopping for tires from y 08 F150 Super Crew. So far I’m considering the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor, General Grabber AT2, Cooper Discoverer S/T and ….. Well, that’s all I’ve got so far.

I want something fairly aggressive but quiet. I commute 20k + a year in this vehicle so tread life is also important. I’ve currently gotten 68k+ out of my existing tires by doing a very poor job of taking care of them. I might just put another set of those on there.

    Suggestions??

I just put a new set on 2 days ago. I had factory Goodyear Wrangler AT’s and got 99,901 miles on them . A mutual friend tire salesman just lined me up with a new set of Yokohama Geolander ATS . So far so good.

I was just going to say I had really good luck with my wranglers and then replaced them with the Yokohamas, and I hate em. A friend of mine has them and loves them.
Just dont have any traction on mud or snow, and are wearing much faster than the wranglers.
I did alot of research before buying them and everyone said they were the tire to have.

I put the silent armors on mine. LOVE THEM. They have served me well in snow, mud, and on the hwy. I went through stuff in SD that I wouldn’t have considered with the factory rubber I had on prior. They truly are quiet and got them for a steal. I got a quote from Sam’s Club and then called GoodYear and they bettered their price by $14 per tire. Plus, I get free lifetime rotation from them. I’ve turned a couple of buddies onto them and they like them as well. I have another friend that is the manager at Tires Plus, and he raves about them, too.

x3 on the Cooper, I get longer life out of them than I did with any Goodyear tires I have had.

I had a set of Coopers heavy meats on the back of my 60 chevy pickup and after 5 years They still had atleast 1/2 of the tread left. I know theres probably other tires just as good but I know from experience Coopers are good.

After reading tons of on-line reviews, I put a set of Bridgestone AT Revos on my truck last year and have been very happy with em. I’ve got about 25K on and they’re showing very little wear. Seems to be a good all around tire with a great ride and perform well in the snow. I rarely take my truck off road in the mud, but the times I have, I haven’t gotten stuck. AT Revos

I just put these on a couple months ago as well. so far i’m really happy with them. ride noise is great, but then again i was rolling on mickey thompsons prior.

had great traction in the snow we just got, hoping the longevity of them is what people are claiming for the price…

After a month and 2 decent snowfalls I am still very impressed with my General Grabber AT2’s. They are very good on slippery snow/ice.
