The bass think they are crawfish right? Walleyes love them too. A good mid to late summer pattern is to texas rig the tube and drive right up to tree tops in the water with a little current tie off to the snag and drop them straight down into the branches. Go from snag to snag and use 12-20lb test mono for that to get them out of the wood. Sometimes you can pull a three or 4 out of one tree.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use tubes for walleye, they NEVER work! Please tell all your buddies this.

Thanks for the imput, looks like Friday morning I’ll have to try targeting them with a few tubes. I’ll let you know how it goes.

What does everyone use to display them? Anyone use the skull hooker? I found a place I can get them for $19.

A buddy of mine showed me one, went to the website to buy a couple and saw the price and had to think about it. $19 is a killer price, care to share? pm if you want. Thanks!

The skullhooker looks pretty good. I have my euro mounts on some pedestals.

They were on camofire this afternoon. They sold out before I got back to my desk to order a few. I’ll have to keep watch until they come up again. Gotta be quick with camofire!

The pedistal would be great if I had somewhere to put them up high. I’m afraid as my kids get older, they will end up knocked over or busted up. Maybe I can talk my wife into letting me mount them to the open beam that runs across our living room!
