and she is probably right.
Late last night, I get a text message at 11:30. Get out of bed to check it so I dont have to listen to the phone beep all night. Buddy of mine sends me a picture of a giant that his buddy shot around 6PM yesterday. 18 points and sporting a 9″ drop tine. “wanna go see it?” he asks, ” oh what the hell…sure” I reply. “Ok, meet me at the blah blah exit in a half hour and we’ll take my truck” We meet up, I get in his truck and get on the road. (its after midnight at this point) “Do you know where(insert town name)is??” he asks..to which I say “WTF! thats like an hour and a half north!!! but ok, ONLY cuz this thing has a drop tine!” Long story short, we find ourselves celebrating the harvest of this magnificent creature in dang near central WI at 2:00 AM this morning. Rolled back into the driveway at appx. 4:45AM
