I got the scoop on the pricing I mentioned. It was year end closeout prices. It was actually $80. From Marks Outdoors in AL. Just google Marks outdoors. They were all out of 10-11’s already

It looks like they don’t even sell Danner anymore. They must be selling off their old inventory. That would be super buy for Pronghorns and I’d be all over it. But alas, the curse of having a common foot size, I’d need a 10 or 11 too.

I have the zero insulation Pronghorns… I use them strictly for walking. I have worn them in comfort from 80 degrees to 10 below. Great boot, no need for the bulk of insulation when I use them pretty much for all walking/standing/drive applications….

When you buy a new pair of Danner’s do you do anything special with them to help keep them waterproof? I bought a new pair last week and one boot is leaking already. The 1st pair I had were awesome. The sole is shot, but they still don’t leak. The 2nd pair leaked from day one. I went with them again hoping the 2nd pair was a fluke.

Take them back OR contact Danner with your receipt, I owned a pair that did the same thing. The GORE-TEX liner was bad. Danner’s warranty is for one year, they will fix or replace your boot.
