Went to the Wabasha County website and cannot seem to find any maps online that show ownership boundaries. Anyone know of an online site where I could look at this info? Thanks…RR

Some counties have free online maps and others like the one I live have a pay site. You may have to contact County/city hall and order a plat book.

RR, Try this link. It is for Wabasha County’s GIS system, as long as you know where you are looking in specific, you can zoom in on it and see the parcel boundaries. On the left side of page where it shows layers, click on “land” and make sure the “parcels” box is checked. Can zoom in all the way down to an aerial imagery. Once you get zoomed in far enough, yellow lines will show up on the map, these are the parcel boundaries for specific tracts of land. Most counties in the state likely have a very similar system to this

Hope this helps, there is an awful lot of layers and things you can add to map. Pretty cool stuff.

I know at Rochester’s Public library, they have all the Plat Books, you can’t check them out; but you can copy any pages you need. The GIS systems in MN do not show landowner information like the Plat Books do.

Kind of depends on the county, For the link I gave for Wabasha County, if you zoom in to the level that will show you parcels and then select the Identify tool right above the map and click on the parcel you are wondering about it will list the owner information on the left side of the screen.

I know some other counties will show the parcel number only on the map, but then you can take that parcel number and key it into their database and get the info that way…
