Guys – I went around the harbor last night fishing for crappies and I caught 1 decent one on a little crappie tube jig and then change my presentation and caught 2 really nice largemouth towards the entrance of the harbor. Both fish went just over the 18″ mark, they were both big fat female largemouth. I was using a drop shot with about 1′ dropper and using a 3″ gulp! Live Shiner. They were both out on the edge of the docks off of the ladders. I tried pitching tubes and Senkos after I caught those two, but I had no takers. Not sure if they were just wanting the really slow stationary presentation of the drop shot or what, but it looks like a few bass have started to move in at the entrance. -Carl

    Carl,

    1. Thanks for the info!

    2. This info should be sent to me via private message.

    3. I’ve got to believe the bass are moving shallow, at least on their way. Low temps aside, nature calls.

I’ll be heading up later tonight and doing some prefishing with my partner tomorrow. It looks like Sunday may be fairly nice weather for the tourney.

    Thanks again Carl!

Yep, I was out Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday night. Fishings been good. The bass are starting to show up in more typical locations. I lost a big one under a hoist in North Bay last night throwing a tube. It was a solid 20″+ largemouth. I caught several other nice keepers up to 17″ but most were hanging around the 10′ – 12′ depth line away from the docks. The jerkbait bite seems to have slowdown and the fish want a more vertical presentation. At least that is the trend over the last few days. I’m going to go out tonight and try some other areas as well. Surface temps were 47.3 last night on West.

    Good evening folks,

New member here on the hunting side of IDO. I need your help. This past Saturday night my garage (near South St Paul) was broken into and my Mossberg 500 was stolen . I would appreciate anyone hearing or seeing one matching this description to contact me through this site. I just wished I could have used the gun one last time to put some buck shot in their a@#.

    Thanks again

Mossberg 500 12 gauge, Camo’d Bird Barrel and Slug Barrel with a flip up site. The gun was in a black hard sided case. I am adding a picture of the camo pattern that was on the gun.

Thanks in advance for keeping your eyes out. I appreciate any help.

Sorry to hear about your shot gun.
This is also a good reminder to write down your serial numbers of all your guns, if you do not have those that gun will never show up as being stolen in the system.
I hope the best in you getting you gun back.

Welcome to IDO…sorry you had to join under these conditions! One other place to keep an eye out is maybe craigslist. We had a woman have her wedding dress stolen only to have it posted on craigslist a little while later. Hope you find the person/persons responsible for this!

Also take pictures along with the serial # and keep them in a safety deposit box in case of a fire or something that damages them for insurance reasons.

I have mine all on a cd in our safety deposit box (reminder to update it because of thompson pistol I recieved)
