Well I’ve always had cudde’s and have always liked their camera’s except the exchange deal. So I heard good things about the wildgames cams on the site so I decided to try the IR4. It worked really well for about a month and then it wouldn’t turn on anymore. Tried new batteries, reset button, etc. Called the customer service and they said to send it in and in a wk I had a brand new camera no ? asked. I thought that was pretty quick customer service and I was impressed.

Bummer that it gave it up. Great that they stood behind their product.
Did they say what the reason was for the other one crapping out on ya?

That is the way it should work. I’m still sitting on a nonworking Cudde for a year already. Sucks to pay another $100+ for a $279.00 camera with only 2 seasons under it. Johnsy report back when you get a battery life outta it.

Right now one of my Scoutguard camera has been running nonstop with the same batteries since July 15th! I’m impressed! So far I’ve got pictures of deer ,coon, yotes a mink, 2 trespassers, a bunch of turkeys, pheasants and the soil sample guy taking a pee on my trail.

    FYI
I put out an IR4C Wildgame on Oct 1, and last night it showed full batteries still, about 100 pics and 7 videos using rayovac batteries.

I bought 3 of the Ir4 camera at Cabelas and 1 didn’t work out of the package and the other one died 3 days later. Same problem as you had. Sent them in, had to wait a little longer…bout 3 weeks. Nice camera when they work!

after 20 days in the field it has dropped 1/4 battery life.
pro’s: economical, good battery life, daytime images, easy to use
con’s: slow trigger speed, flash& sensor length, poor quailty ir pics
any way i guess it tells me deer are hitting this field almost nightly.
    here are some pics:

Deano…I have the same camera and I would agree the trigger speed is not the greatest and some pictures do turn out blurry. But for the $$ I’ve been very pleased with my IR4. Your last few night pictures looks to me like the camera may be pointing too far down to the ground. Also you won’t get very good picture quality if the camera faces the same direction as the rising and setting sun. Thanks for sharing your pics though and the information you have collected.
