I don’t know if the fact that I like working under pressure or what but I swear noone procrastinates as much as me.

A classic example. I decided to shoot some different arrows during turkey season this spring. Guess when I ordered them…Monday. Ordered the wraps and fletchings also. Keep in mind this is a whole new arrow for me, so I’ll be sighting in again. I suspect only minor tweaks but still opener is only one week away.

So, am I the only one who is this way? I got a buddy in SD, married, but no kids. He is always prepared for everything, to the T. I like throwing monkey wrenches in his plans occasionally just to see how he reacts on his feet.

Mine have a tendency to do that throughout the year also. Weird, must be cheap stuff I’m buying.

Thanks for the post Kooty. It prompted me to get out there and finish prepping a buddies rifle for the up coming season. Now I can check that off my list.

Not only am I good at procrastinating, I seem to like those lessons that are best taught the hard way.

Got my new arrows, wraps and blazers in the mail yesterday. Super pumped. Put the wraps on and installed the blazers. By the way, the Arizona easy fletch is the cat’s meow. Anyway, let the glue dry for a couple hours.

Decided to shoot a few last night. First arrow hits 3 inches low. 2nd arrow, the same. 3rd arrow the same. Perfect. I adjust my whole site down a bit. Went a little far, moved it back up a bit. So I’ve cycled the same arrow about 15 times so far adjusting the site. I decide to check all the other arrows flight paths. Grab my 2nd arrow, let it fly. Target tips over and a perfectly good arrow snaps. Are you kidding me!! Note to self, be sure the target is secured properly when shooting in the basement!

Pic 1 = wrap, very happy with how they turned out.
Pic 2 = half an arrow.

I’ve done that more time’s than I’d like to admit…

    Nice job on the fletching.

Battledrum for these. They are a tiny bit long(wide), but I’m very happy with how they turned out and the service I received.

The wraps look good Kooty! It never fails – new arrows means a new broken one. I wish you could buy a bakers dozen!
