My brother and i went down to Everts Resort to use the $50 gift certificate that he won for the deer contest last fall We both have never been there before and fished pool 4 on the sippi. Dean was very informative and an overall great guy to talk to We ended up fishing for like 5 hours and we ended up with a 12 lb flathead, 3 smaller channel cats that we kept and a 5-6 lb channel
If anyone ever gets a chance to go down to Everts its a nice little shop w/ a TON of advice, incredible selection of tackle, and a great owner

Dean informed us that the channels were hitting stink bait so we went ahead and bought a bucket of that. Once you get that stuff on your hands, you forget about it. I ended up getting it on my nose, face, arm, etc Luckily we got stuck in the storm system for over an hour and washed most of the stink off….(i shouldn’t say “luckily”)

We also bought 4 tubs of crawlers, 10 1.5 oz no role sinkers, line, hooks, etc. It ended up being around $70 or so
