Does anyone own this rifle for themselves or their kids? I was looking online at a Remington 770 youth however it got really bad reviews. This one reviewed a lot better but haven’t seen either in person. I was thinking a .243. For the approx. $300 price range with a scope it could be a good deal.

my first gun was a .243 remmington youth model or something was really good gun..one thing that i didnt like about it the action was really hard but it came with a bushnell scope and yeah it was around 300 dollars to. 
I won three mosberg atr’s at different banquettes and didnt think much of them. They were won about 2 and 3 years ago so maybe they are better now, but the bolts are very sloppy and the safety was horrible. I heard that the barrel actually was fairly accurate, but the whole gun in general seemed cheaply made.
ive never been a big mossy fan… have you looked at the savage youth guns? i think they are in the same price range.
