Why did they change the old site?
No one seems to like the new one and misses the ease of the old one?
    Nice improvment!

Remember the info is posted by a government agency. As with anything government related if they find something that works they will break it. In my ‘X-files’ gov’t conspiracy mind I believe that to keep receiving funds, thus maintaining their jobs, they need to always change things. In the private sector we call it “make-work”. I have never seen any other explanation. But I too long for the old days. I keep a computer fishing log. I would always check the river stats and include the data. Last year I got a little lazy and didn’t do this immediately, knowing I could do this over the winter. No such luck now it’s all from memory.

Besides taking in the archery shoot, I also got started on the things I’ll need to take to SD on labor day weekend. Here is a short clip showing the fruits of my labor.

And I think I’ve got two, too many stands. Seriously, Jeff and I were laughing the other day. Great, we both got some new stands. Now if we just had trees to use them in.

The bow needs practice? I thought the guy who shoots the bow needed the practice… Looking good Kooty! I need to pick up some more stands myself! All of mine are already in a tree!

I hope my wife never finds out how many tree stands I actually have!

The amazing thing is that I still need about 6 more. At least for this year, don’t know what I’ll need for next year!

It’s always the bow’s fault when I miss, but mine when I make a great shot.

No, gotta go to Home Depot and get some blue lock tite. I’ll do that this week sometime. I’ll be shooting again this weekend at the Elm Creek range so I don’t want to fiddle with those anymore.
