Ventless heater recommendations

For years we’ve had a barrel type propane heater that has worked great, but I’m looking for a ventless heater to hang on the wall to supplement our wood burner for heat. I’ve been looking at the Blue Flame heaters. Anybody use these? Shack will only be a 24×24, so I’m thinking a 30,000 btu should suffice.

I don’t have a brand, but make sure you get an adjustable thermostat one. Not one with just low, medium and high settings. It will drive ya crazy trying to maintain the right temp.

Ya, we had one in the fishhouse a few years ago and it was giant pain trying to maintain temp. Thermostat is the only way to go.

    Brian:

Assuming you are looking for something in MN… WI doesn’t allow ventless in living areas. That does not mean you install one yourself, but really can’t push you a direction without a little google search… Is there any one’s product you are looking at strongly at this time???

remember, ventless = moisture… which sucks if you are trying to dry out gear overnite.
