I know the post on here said that the new scope law was passed in wi a friend of mine didn’t believe me. He called the DNR last night and they said it didn’t he is calling the madison office on monday. We also checked the online regs and it only stated the same laws as in the past. Another friend who is a hunters safety instructor said it was what the heck is going on?

I just got done on the Chat now on the dnr site and asked the person about it. here are words she said. “That proposed bill is still in legislation and won’t be decided upon until they reconvene sometime this fall. Please keep checking our website for further updates this fall.” Hope this helps.

You are talking about the WI DNR – they are probably using the same system to count votes as they do counting deer! We may never get an answer!

Well it’s official my buddy called the head office to confirm the regulations on optics for the muzzleloader season, and once again WI DNR are leaving the hunters hanging as of right now no optics except 1x or less can be used for the 10 day season. After talking with my bud said that all counties except 1 wanted the ruling changed. Can you guess which county didn’t want it? That’s not a hard one too figure out. Hard to believe that the state/DNR wants all these deer killed and the hunters who spend all kinds of money to hunt want one thing change and these ‘s won’t give it to us. Something needs to change in my opinion. Since I’m on when are they going to get rid of this cwd zones these areas have no deer from talking to friends that still hunt the areas I used to prior to moving. These guys are doing everything they can deer management/food plots ect. Pretty soon these good hunters will give up and quit hunting because of all the bull. Wouldn’t it be nice to take control and put someone that actually hunts and knows about hunting in control of OUR herd not the states herd. It’s time someone puts the on them. Oh maybe they’ll have another online venting website that they don’t even look at or have these town hall’s that they don’t listen to We The Hunter’s.
