I hope there is more evidence then that picture.
That Fish could be as small as 25lb’s depending on where it is in relation to the camera and where the diver is at the time of the picture.
I’ll stick with Myth at this point.
Thanks Pug!

My thoughts exactly
I tried giving everyone a hint. It took me a second too, since it was Mr. Sutton who penned it.
It had me thinking hard right up till the end. I just figured it was another one of the “internet stories” out there with doctored up photos.
I have heard these stories from a good friend. When they built one of the bridges down in St Paul (High Bridge I think), he claims the divers where scared by huge fish (cats).
Folk lore is what I added it up to.
The picture is kind of sketchy though.
Thanks for posting
I made it about two sentences until i decided to check the date of the blog entry….
I think you have to pay for the ad before you create it.
When it calculates the total of the ad your placing it
will kick you into the payment screen. Sometimes you may
have enough fish bucks to pay for the ad and other times
it will send you to paypal.
If you paid for the ad then go back to the classifieds to the
section your going to place your ad in and you should be good to start posting.
Does this help?
i have also heard stories about under the bridges in st.paul but also in lake phalen and several other lakes but there always from friends that dont know anything about fish
Ok I spent some time at our land after work today mowing the trails and snooping around and let me tell you the deerflies are TERRIBLE
Any tricks to getting these little SOB’s to leave me alone
It did help once I put a hat on
A shower once a month could help you bud
ummm so are you thinking the shine from the top of your head had something to do with it
All fun aside I have no idea and hate them things
bug headnet and a wide brimmed hat to keep the netting away from the skin. Best $1.99 you’ll spend at Walmart.

Going to have to start dressing like me.
One word for this solution….amazing! http://www.flypatch.com/
I’ve personally used them and they are incredible.
You’ll feel them hitting the patch on the top of your head (which takes some getting used to), but put your faith in this deal. After a few hours in the woods, you’ll be amazed. I’ve thrown away patches with 20+ deer-flies attached to it.
Enjoy!

Very cool Thanks !!!
2 strips last up to 1 week. Who is going to keep dead flies on their head for one week? It does seem like a good idea though. And that is exactly where they land too!
The flypatch looks like it would work to keep those pesty deer flies away! Now if I could only get them to make me a “gutpatch”!

But where would you attach the patch? Right here ?
