Thermacell efficacy… Follow up post.

    Flies and skeeters were BAD in Newfoundland. Thermacell worked extremely well. Went from using double headnets and a hood to sitting in the tree without needing any bug netting at all.

    Unreal!!!

    Also, the unit was ON when I dropped my bear. I had a favorable wind so it may never had a chance to smell it, who knows…. But, if they can smell your Thermacell, they can smell you… So I can see why thermacell odor is not a major concern if you are playing the wind correctly.
