Hey guys I’m looking for some ideas for cutting up deer this fall. I feel like I have a pretty good setup already but I’m looking for what you guys put under your deer, on the floor, when hanging up your deer, to catch all the blood etc. I have used plastic that I throw away each time, I have used a kids pool and most the time I have used cardboard. I just want to see what you guys use for easy clean up.

Cardboard usually. I just throw it in the burn barrel when I’m done.

    Furniture bags.
My father used to work for a furniture manufacture. He’d cut them on two of the three seams and tape them down.

to big g thx for the welcome. i live in winnipeg, i think yer from the twin cities area. i hunt whitetail primarily bow, muzzle, rifle and x-bow. hunt the family farm near the border to north dakota near cavalier as well as farmland and boreal forest 1 hrs drive northeast of where i live. have a really good friend up there. he has horses and a small stable business in addition to his regular job. we ride, fish, hunt. we have a special shotgun/muzzleloader season in sept and dec in 1 designated hunting zone and i hunt on a couple of my uncles farms from my moms side of the family. monster bucks down there. many p&y records have come out of there. can only hunt bucks during the bow season from aug to dec in that zone. sept and dec shotgun/muzzle seasons are does only. lots of moose and elk in our province. can never seem to get organized in march/april to put my name in for the draws. luv to fish especially ice fish. lots of trophy walleye fishing within 45 minute drive from my house. met the lindner crew twice fishing the red river. once in june fishing cats and once in sept for the fall walleye run. great buncha guys. anyway thx again for the welcome. would luv to hear about u.

I live about an hour north of the Twin Cities, or 6 hours south of Winnipeg I too love chasing whitetails, with my bow, and also muzzy and rifle I also enjoy elk hunting in MT when I can get drawn (not this year) and I really love fishing and Bear hunting in Northern Manitoba. I have been fishing at a place called Lynn Lake, for the last 7 years, it is 12 hours west & north of Winnipeg I bear hunted up there for the first time last year and got a nice one I am trying to possibly get back there this fall Shoot straight
