Fake Morels – careful what your eating.

Never heard of fake or poison morels until last weekend. Anyone ever find one of these buggers.

I’ve found these before, and to me at least, they didn’t even look close to a morel. They look red or crimson and almost like a brain in-appearance from what I’ve seen.

I have had these growing in my yard.. in the shaded area under Oak trees… very brainey looking when you attempt a 50 yard field goal with them…. and they splatter alot…
