Fox Pups playing ontop of their den – pics

    On the way home this morning, I stopped and took a short walk. I heard some fox pups yipp’n along a fence line, so I grabbed my pocket digital camera and started heading their way. These curious little fellows weren’t too shy to pose for a few shots. I got a little too close and the mother barked (from inside the den) all five dove in the holes. About 5 minutes later, a couple came out to investigate me. Very enjoyabe moment to walk upon what a lot of other people never get to see up close and personal.

    This is what life is all about.

    Nice Pics. We have had several litters around our house for the past few years. They are fun to watch. On my way to work this morning there was one lying on the road that someone must have hit with a vehicle. Sad to see.

    They are sure cute when they are little. Funny how we can adore them now and can’t wait to hunt them in the winter.
