Ever wonder about new products when they come along and make their claim to fame. Me personally, I tend to lean towards the BS side of my judgement more than trusting manufactures who are trying to sell me something.
The past two days, I’ve spent about 20 hours in the very tick infested woods of north central Mn chasing the wily Tom around. My job was sherpa, grunt and video camera extraordinaire. When I arrived on Friday night, Brad said “Here! Wear this stuff, the ticks are bad. I got 8 today just scouting.”
Seriously, I’m thinking OK, I’ll try this stuff, but really…. We both unpacked brand new pants, shirts and hats. If you’ve never attempted to film an archery turkey hunt, you have no idea the amount of “junk” that is necessary. The first morning I looked more like one of those trucks you see traveling across the desert in India than a turkey hunter. Seriously, I had a bag of decoys, two chairs, fanny pack and an extra large Covert blind over my shoulder. Brad carried his bow. 
Kidding.
My point, we had all kinds of stuff for the ticks to crawl on, drop on, you name it. I was carrying this stuff from spot to spot. Each time we would setup, I’d start finding ticks on my head. It seemed like 100’s. I couldn’t figure out why. DUH, I was carrying the blind over my shoulder against my head.
Guess who wasn’t wearing his Elimitick hat?? Yup, me! Brad had no issues all weekend with ticks. I did. Only on my neck and head. I did a thorough tick check after hunting both days and not a single tick on my body.
So to the folks at Gamehide, please process the order I just placed. I need my gear by next weekend for the WI turkey hunt. This stuff works!!!!

P.S. I’d also like to request a new additon to the product line. A full body unitard, head to toe with slits for the eyes. I HATE TICKS!!!!
