Hawk

Ran across this Red tailed Hawk last week as I was chasing turkeys with my buddies son. Had a busted up wing.

He looks

That’s a dark chested redtail hawk.

And yes, it looks p.o.’ed….

Hmmmm… If you were able to catch it – most likely the Raptor Center would have taken it.

A buddy of mine ran into a bald eagle that couldn’t fly. After making a few calls (DNR and The Raptor Center) they told him if he could catch it – then bring it in. He thought how am I ever going to catch this bald eagle without getting injured himself? Well he went up to it, threw his coat over its head and the eagle calmed right down. He even transported it himself on his snowmobile. Then he put it in his dog box and later on took it to the Raptor Center in Mpls.

Yeah Brad, believe me I debated with myself what I should be doing with this bird.

He probably hasn’t gone to far from where you saw it, with a wing problem.

Yep, I tried to find him yesterday when I was back out there turkey hunting.
