I was traveling a back road today for work and started to notice quite a few snakes ran over in a short distance. I was right in front of a rock quarry that was very active with trucks. My guess is that these snakes were chased from the quarry. This is a very crummy video from my cell of one that I tried to save….. He didn’t take the hint that the rocks I was throwing near him were supposed to scare him off the road. Hope he made it.

Yea….I’m not a fan of snakes. It’s all I could do to get out of the truck on the passenger side. I was going to grab a stick and push him off the road but I was too chicken to walk in the woods. Needless to say, I won’t be turkey hunting near that quarry Saturday morning.

Ya, I’d probably taken the other route of just running him over.

“Caught” this guy with my rod tip on the river a few weeks ago.. My buddy was nice enough to grab him for a nice photo op.

He smiled perfectly for the camera.

Stop showing that snake picture. It’s making me not want to fish P4.
