Hey, that’s more than I accomplished today. Congrats on the bird. My BIG accomplishment involved a yard rake and some hefty bags. doah

I just changed it a couple of weeks ago to the picture below. I had a trail cam picture of a buck that I was after last fall that didn’t get.

Why would my background pic have you in it

I would have a hard time taking down a 150 pic thou

My buck pic was up until turkey season came around

I change it every 2 weeks or so

You’ve had some great success. That would be a great slide show.

Awesome bucks + ugly hunter = deductions

    Turkeys still rule

I could take every buck ive shot and not have a slide show like that

But as far as trail cam shots I rule

Just decided to change to one of my 2 favorite turkey photos in 2006 (the year my mother passed 4/19/06)

But need your help to choose.

Mom was looking over our shoulder those seasons. And I know she was glad we still went.

    1) My dads bird and I
    2) My bird out of my deer stand.

The only place better than sitting in my Iowa deerstand in November…crossing the 100 fathom line on a beautiful July morning at sunrise 70 miles off the South Texas coast heading way East on my way far offshore to hunt the majestic man in the blue suit…It’s what gets me through the winter

Photos I took a couple weeks ago of eagles eating dead carp on that slough behind the boat ramp area at the Back Channel Bridge! Well the one isn’t my desktop background but a picture I call “Oh man! I shouldn’t have that sushi last night!”
