Well, after many years of “roughing” it in a 1950’s modified travel trailer, we break ground on a new hunting shack. More like a Hilton compared to what I’m used to.

It won’t be anything outrageous, a simple 2 and half car garage with a 12 foot deck/porch. Electric goes in April 1st!

400 acres of great deer land and 20 minutes to the pond, life is good!!

congrats!! I am sitting at my cabin now just waiting for warm weather to start foodplots.. right now it’s the perfect time to do some hinge cutting and make some deer bedding areas.

The cool thing is, I have 2 stepsons, 17 and 14. It’s great to know that they’ll have a nice, clean and safe place to hunt for the very long future. It will also be nice to have a place we can use year round for once. Definately a dream come true, can’t wait.
