This might be better off on the otherside but there doesnt seem to be much interest..Im looking at setting up or buying a boat for bowfishing..now that MN is allowing shooting “hunting” rough fish at night…Ive become more obsessed with it. Anyone have any piocs of there fish hunting rig?? Id love to see it. Hopefully Ill have a new rig come spring…also anyone hear of one for sale please P.M me thanks Jay …here’s a few pics from last year to get the blood flowing.

That first bow looks like a combination recurve vs. compound. Is it a retro? Nice carp too.

That’s the biggest differnce between hunting and fishing. Can’t really throw anything back when your hunting. I think that is where the indifference comes from on the other side. I say what the heck, have fun.

I love bow fishing but don’t realy have a special boat set up for it. I realy like a hand controled bow mount trolling motor for getting in the shallows without spooking fish. They are easy to set so they are just under water or maybe even a little out of water. I havn’t ever tried it at night, but all rigs ive seen have generators on them for lighting power and a high deck.

Prieser…the first bow is an oldie…it belonged to a good buddy of mine who passed away…I use it as a backup..Its amazing all the pullies it has on it but still gets the job done when the bottle on my main bow tangles up.

I believe that is a Bear “Whitetail.” Pretty amazing how far equipment has come.

I know a guy that has a G3 flat bottom tiller like the one in the classified. It works great for bow fishing. I’ve used it a couple times for it.

I have a buddy that built a really nice rig. I’ll try to get some pic’s the next time I’m over at his place. I believe that he built the shooting deck out of aluminum. It’s a ton of fun that’s for sure
