I received this email today stating that these pictures were supposedly taken in Idaho from a treestand.

If they can do that to a moose, just imagine what they can do to a deer herd.

Those pictures have to be I bet 4-5 yrs old. They just seem to make the email rounds every yr.

The pics were taken on Isle Royale just off the north shore of Minnesota. They were taken via helicopter.

X2, as far as I know. Watched the video about a year ago.. Don’t remember if it was on the internet or a TV program… Thought it was TV, but I’m sure you could find the video with a google search.

Years ago I used to late season hunt in the northern part of WI. Right next to the heaviest populated area of wolves in the state –Shannon Golden area. I had a few folks from home always say, that at night do you really think the wolves would care if you’re a human or a deer when their hungry enough at -20 needless to say in time, I started carrying pepper spray along, normally it was a long hike from the stand back to the truck, and wolf tracks were vary common in the fresh snow.

Just wasn’t a fan of being the 1st to make the list.
