    For an example-the white E-tec motors are the softwater version [they have stainless steal parts inside them so the salt doesn’t eat away at the parts] where the blue E-tecs don’t. There are alot of white motors sold everywhere in the USA including here in Minnesota. You will have absolutely no problems running them here. Alot of people buy them because they prefer a white motor cause the white color might go better with the colors of their boat.
