One thing we all need to keep in mind is the rest of the family members who are related Anthony Klaseus and who have suffered immensely due to Anthony’s actions. It’s not their choice that they are related to Anthony. I’m sure they are going through a lot right now and will be for some time. If Anthony was your brother, or your father, or your uncle or your child – would you view it a little differently? Would you try and get him help? It’s easy to say no… unless of course you are actually in their shoes.

This is just my opinion and everyone here has the right to their own opinions. I would imagine his family (as any family would in a horrible situation like this) tried to help him through his tragedy. I couldn’t imagine them not doing so. But it’s quite obvious (to me anyway) that he has elected not to seek help. If he was my brother or uncle I would do anything I could to help him get through it…but if he doesn’t feel he has a probem or just doesn’t want anyones help, then there is really nothing anybody can do until he realizes himself that he has a problem. But for now the best place for him is behind bars again! What happens after that is up to him again. Just my .02

Addiction to drugs or booze is a terrible thing, and for many there is no shaking it once it takes a hold. But in the beginning, it is a life style choice; nobody forces an individual down that path but themselves. So while I can pity a person lost to addiction, I don’t actually feel sorry for them. In this case it sounds as if the guy is a complete waste of space.

A few weeks in solitary in jail might help him go cold turkey, but I bet he would revert to his old ways on release..

Very good point Mike! Anthony should serve his time behind bars for the crimes that he has committed and if he can’t change himself, than no one can change him.

It was just a mailbox this time, but what if it was your kid walking?

Compassion was granted to this guy once. He received only 30 days in the work house for killing a kid while he was hunting high, drunk, tresspasing, without a licence, and he had prior drug convictions. Fair, blind justice should have been administered to this guy. Not a slap on the wrist, sorry for your loss, don’t do it again. Now he’ll serve his 90 for probation violation, and maybe 90 more for the DUI. Hopefully we don’t hear his name again….but I’d bet we do.

I believe a long walk in the woods that he just never comes back from would do this guy and the world the best good. We have a great spot up north where the wolves and coyotes play that I think would make a great vacation for this clown.
