yesterday i was at school when i herd some fellow class mates talking about how they bought drugs from school. i didn’t believe them until later in the day when i was in shop and some one showed me a thing with Weed residue on it. so at this point i am really thinking is this happing. i spent the rest of the class thinking what i should do. well at the end of that class i went to the principle and told him what i knew. and who i though it was witch was only 2 people. well later found out there were 2 more people in on it. one being a close friend and the other didn’t really care about. they found drugs in one of the lockers and have kicked all of them out for 10 days. I guess my question is Did i do the right thing?

sure you did! The sooner they get serious with life the better for them. You did them a favor and hopefully they will take advantage of it. Rather than smoking weed all through high school and then loosing ambition, not going to college and working a dead end job til they are thirty before they realize it. Way to go just be careful.

Yes you did the right thing. Good Job! As far as the friend of yours that was involved, I would kick him to the curb. I have no time for POT HEADS!

Dont be so fast to kick someone to the curb just for being young and possibly missguided.Depending on how good of friend he is should help you figure out if you should try and help him or not. As for you having no time for POTHEADS that is your choice but not everyone that smokes the weed is bad. You would be surprised to find out how many important figures in history dabbled with pot. You should have a much bigger problem with people that drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes. They ruin many more lives then does pot. And also ,this being a hunting site your on, you should know how much forest land and hunting areas that could be saved if they just LEGALIZE IT.

I commend you for your actions Chris and yes – you did do the right thing. It’s up to all of us to report illegal drugs no matter where we are in life and no matter how we are related to the offenders. If it happened to be my child who got caught at your school, I would shake your hand and say thank you.

If they did legalize it they could crop it and save thousands of acres of trees. Think about it bud. Granted big brother would have to figure out how to make money off of it mfirst.

You did the right thing although it probably doesn’t feel very good as a good friend is in trouble, embarrassed, and possibly mad at you. Those are short term consequences.

If he’s a good friend, it will work itself out in the long run and if these kids take their medicine and get things turned around, then you’ve done them all a favor. One they won’t realize for some time.

Stick to your guns, you did the right thing.

first off i want to say that i think CHRIS did the right thing. it warms my heart when i see a young adult from the I, ME generation step up and do whats right.
but then i see some one tell him to abandon a friend in a time of need that just burns my that is not what true friendship is about. if your going to kick your friends to curb every time they have a lapse in judgement your not going to have many friends. CHRIS may have created an uncomfortable situation for him self with this friend but TRUE friendships are not always easy but are always worth it.

secondly, no thats not what i TOLD my kids when they were at that time in there life (teenagers)
the question i asked was very simple and had no meaning to it.” who do you trust god or man?” don’t be so quick to jump to conclutions and judge.

P.S. sorry for getting a little of track but we have a young man doing the right thing, lets not give bad advise.
