Anyone got a suggestion for a good, cold weather hat? Must be wind and waterproof, but also breathable. It will double for ice fishing and late season hunting.

i use a plain ole stocking hat with a face mask and if that doesn’t cut it i add a fleece gator and a waterproof fleece hat with a face mask, seems to work in the harshest weather (i work outdoors all year around). as far as name brand,i can’t say, i cut the tags out when i get them .
Was going to suggest either beaver or otter for an extreme cold weather hat. I just would want my head wrapped in fur while hunting
I like this Filson cap. It is insulated and has wool earflaps. Very windproof.

See if you can borrow Joselyns, that she is wearing in your Avatar ???? For hunting, I have a camo Beanie type hat, I want to say it is the brand DUE NORTH (got it at Gander years ago)…. Its warm, dry and windproof, but I do not sweat in it either. Honestly, I don’t know if it is water proof, but my head has never gotten wet with it
Yup, found it on-line, mine is Mossy Oak….. click link to check it out
