I would say about 3-4″ here…. drifting like a bear, and that wind…. 3’F right now, I would say windchill is -20’….. Talk about a slap back to reality of a winter coming….

Were getting the light stuff and its howling right now. Alot of snow going sideways, about 10″ too 12″ on the ground but the snows slowing down. With the winds its going to drift right back in again, hellooo winter.

My trip out west last year was kind of like this. Just imagine having 4 feet of snow with 60 mph winds.

Does anyone think it might be worth going out the the tree stand in the morning? Will the deer be moving in this weather? Or should a guy just in?

To me it is always worth it if I can go. You can not shoot one from under the covers. If I had to choose to hunt an evening over a food source or morning at this time of year. I would pick evening, but if I can make the morning work, you can bet I would be up in the stand!

good, I can fight the cold in my new ‘gamehide’ insulated coveralls so I think I’ll get out there tomorrow as much as possible. Thanks
