Black buck

I got this as a email today the only thing the email said was the buck was shot in michigan.

Melanistic whitetails are less common than albinos. My grandpa talks about chasing one for a few years on the farm he grew up on. The neighbor ended shooting it in the middle of the summer. That was back when shooting a deer was to survive, not so much for the sport. Congrats to the hunter.

Wow, that’s wild. There was a rumor that one was living around my family’s farm according to the neighbors, but I never did see him.
