gun info needed

    i have a sporterized(sp) model 1903 springfield rifle. can someone tell me where i can look up the history of this gun by the serial number?. i do know that it was made in 1921 and it was built at the springfield armory, according to the serial number. this is information that i have pulled from google. anymore information will be greatly accepted…………tom fellegy

    Did you try to contact Springfield? I know that other manufacturers will tell you the history of your gun and I’m sure Springfield will be able to also. That I would say is your best bet.

    thanks alot, just what i was looking for. answered all my questions so far. i have a few more that i need to write in, from what i have read they will be easy answers for them…………tom
