My new Z7 is here, so I will be selling my Drenalin. I hope to get pics and an ad up tonight, so if anyone knows anyone who is looking for a great bow, keep me in mind. Its a 28/70 RH. Will sell tricked out, or bare bow. I’ll add a link to the ad, when I get it done. Will have pics and I’ll come up with some pricing. Can’t wait to get the first late season deer with the new rig!

    Congrats Les.

What made you decide on the Z7 over another brand or the Reezen, Monster, etc?

Didn’t know there was any other brands out there???

I wanted to pick up speed, but no lose the draw cycle that the Q2, Legacy, Drenalin, have had. I know the Monster is faster, and now comes in the 7 ” brace height. I still like the draw curve gradual, instead of stacking all the weight right at the get go. The Z7 is a nice mix of speed increase, and drawability (is that a word, well it is now!).

I agree with what you said and also the reason’s I’m looking at the new Z7. I love my Legacy, but it is time for a new one. From what reviews I have heard the Z7 is smooth, forgiving and what I personally prefer in a bow. Along with the smoothness and accuracy, I pick up some speed also. That is a win –win IMO.

After the season it will be time to bite the bullet. I just need to go out and shoot one, along with an Alpha Max and a few others and see what I like best this time around.

I did not believe that a bow would shoot better then my DXT until a few weeks ago when I shot the all NEW Z7. I have my DXT already sold and a Z7 on it’s way. I will be finishing my late season doe hunting with my DXT and then make the switch.

With that being said, I will also say that all bow manufactures are doing a great job with there product. This past year I have had the opportunity to try some other product out there and I have to say that I have been very impressed.

Good luck to everyone with the Wisconsin gun season a few day away. Hunt safe.

It is a little harder draw cycle, but it is just as smooth, if not smoother. It is definitely quieter. I shoot Easton FMJ arrows (way heavy) out of my drenalin with 2″ blazers, and 100 grain heads, with 4″ wraps @ 249. Out of the Z7 they were 286.

You might want arrow weight also.

my bad I read 29″ draw, but I actually need arrow length. If you know your complete arrow weight, that would work also, otherwise I can figure it out.

Well after shooting the Z7 and the Hoyt Carbon Matrix I’ve
decided that I’m keeping my Reezen. I just didn’t feel that
it was much differant than my Reezen. There are alot of good shooting bows out there and which ever one you choose
you should be happy. I think I’m going to look at getting
    some more trail cameras.

Rob, you will want to shoot the Hoyt Maxxis, much improved over the Alpha Max and comes with a roller cable guard (think Mathews style) and is a sweet shooting bow. Its my next one for sure. Schaffer has a fresh supply as I was just in there last week and my buddy bought one. Unreal how nice these bows shoot.
