Update from Bluff Bucks.

    The update from Bluff Bucks outfitters is things are really starting to pick up. Mark Fox and I spent the day yesterday re-setting cameras on scrapes. Most scrapes are really opening up. Most of the bigger bucks are moving just before dark or right after.

    We also made a trip yesterday to pick up Butch’s full body mount from last year. Now both Mark and Butch’s deer from last year are in the new lodge.

    This week Butch and Mark will have the Crush team in camp. Lee & Tiffany and crew arrived last night around 9pm. We had a chance to visit on there new bus. What a ride!!!!! We spent some time looking at this years footage and I know I could send many hours doing that. Lee showed us some footage of a 170/8 that they had in a few nights ago and just stayed out of range for Tiffany. I also watched his Alaskan Moose footage and the footage of his 197 main frame 8 he shot. I think it’s going to be a good week.

    The all new lodge is really coming along. We know it is work in progress and will always find things to update.

    We hope all had a great weekend. Hunt safe, but always have fun.

    I told my girlfriend that Tiffany was just across the river and she asked, ‘WHO!?!’. So I had to pop in a DVD of Mrs. Lakosky’s first muzzleloader hunt in Iowa. And judging from the hand-mark on my face, I think she slapped me pretty hard!!!

    Tell Lee and Tiff to sign up and say hi! We would love to hear the story of their Bluff Buck experience. It should give Tiffany something to do while riding in that rickety ole’ bus..

    If I’m not mistaked, Tiffany is already signed up. She stopped in after the Mn Deer Classic to say HI and thank everyone who showed up!

    Dan, the place looks great…but next time get some pics of Tiffany…NOT the bus!

    I’m back in my office today and trying to get a few things done at the Skeeter Boat Center before the snow sets in. The Crush are seeing a few bucks but not until after camera light. Tiffany let me know when I picked her up last night that she had seen a few bucks but no shooters. A friend of there’s from Mathews had a nice 140/10 coming to a creek last night after the wind had changed to the east and needless to say did not hang around when he caught wind. Lee has also seen a few bucks just not what he is looking for.

    Hopefully, tonight will be the night.
