well it was 5:45 and i could hear a squirrel sounding off there alarm so i know something was coming down. I could here her coming but i wasn’t quite sure. So when the squirrel next to me i could hear the doe right to my left so i know this is it. So about 5:50 i finally saw her. She was along and she was slowly coming down the hill and at the point she was at the field. I slowly stood up and got my bow and she walked out behind the tree and about 10 yards i drew my bow and the arrow popped off. She heard it so i put the arrow back and and drew and shot high because i though she was going to bust me. She the ran up the way about 25 yards away and then i got another arrow and drew and let it go. She was facing away and it hit its mark at 25 yards. She ran 30 yards and piled up. I was happy and mad that i missed the first shot but happy i got her. I hit the left lung and clipped the second. And drilled the heart. I am thrilled to have gotten my first deer and shes going to make great eats. The one thing i am even more happy is i put the stand up 4 days earlier and i did everything myself from haning the stand to picking the tree and everything. So i was extremely happy when i finally filled my tag. i will try to get the pic up as soon as possible but i am having problems uploading it.
