Can’t remember where the nearest sporting clays course is. Looking for a place to go tomorrow (Wed) around 1 or 2 pm.

Does EC rod and gun club have one? Might be one in Menomine somewhere… Any closer to the Fall Creek area/East or South side of EC?

    Any help is appreciated!!

    Thanks,

    Mike

Just found them as well.. Looka like they are the best ones within a reasonable distance.

I guess the EC rod and gun club has one.. Anyone have the scoop on that??? It sounded like it was “portable” elevated stands or something like that. I assume its not a permanent setup and they probably only offer it on a limited basis??? Doesn’t sound nearly as intruiguing as the Menomonie one.

The Eau Claire Rod and Gun is a 5 stand set-up.

I too wish we had a true sporting clays course in Eau Claire.

That WOULD be nice… I would think maybe there would be enough people in the area to support such a course??
Start small, then build as it gets more well known??? It would be nice if the EC Rod and Gun would consider doing that (maybe they already have??), even if it was at a different locale than their current property. Maybe its just a pipedream, I know its a lot of capitol to start up something like that. Any millionaires with spare time in the area?? You would have my patronage!! (about 5 miles from my house would be PERFECT. )

Sounds like the Menomonie one is pretty nice, though. If I could only get through to them and work out a reservation, I’d be set!

    Thanks Sully…
