I’m color blind and am sadly a very bad tracker.Does anybody have any advice/opinions on those Primos or other brand handheld devices that show brighter colors to help blood tracking. Thanks

I’m with you on this one

For me I use a big light (spot light) works well Dark and Dark colors don’t mix for me so when you turn on that big spot light seems like the blood will stand out . I will miss tons of sign with a small light……. Just what works for me ..

Coleman Lantern, just wear a glove on the hand holding the top of the lantern. Best thing we’ve found for tracking. Or a rage in the cage, then you don’t need much light

If in doubt bring a big spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide, just spray a little on the sign and if it bubbles its blood.

I had always used a mag light, but a couple years ago I got one of the Primos blood lights for christmas, used it the last two seasons with good success, I don’t know if I would have purchased one myself, however; after using one I would purchase another!

Just call “COPPERTOP”. he’s a bloodhound. I can’t see blood to save my life unless it’s so obvious that it’s not even funny. I have a blood spotting flashlight but i don’t think it helps all that much. Like i said before… call CT. if he can’t see the blood, he’ll sniff the deer out
