    In Depth Outdoors is proud to announce the iDoHunting.com 2009 Fall Harvest Contest Winners. This contest took the place of the usual Deer Photo Contest in attempt to diversify the website and include all the Fall/Winter Hunting sports. We believe this was accomplished as we had entries for Turkey, Deer, Waterfowl, Bear and Antelope. CLICK HERE to see the original contest! Everyone that submitted an entry was also entered in for a random prize drawing (excluding the Grand Prize winners). Members were allowed to submit multiple entries and we had a total of 30 entries submitted, which is not bad for the first year and we are excited to see this number grow in the coming years.

    So lets get down to it…….

    This year the GRAND PRIZE Winner for the Best Overall Photo and Story in the Hunter (Over 16 Years Old) Division will receive a Gamehide Ridge Jacket and a set of Gamehide Ridge Bibs (overall retail value of $369.90 for the set). The Winner of this prize is: JAKE

    The 2nd Place Winner in the Hunter Division will receive a In-Depth Outdoors / Gamehide Base Camp Pullover Hoodie with the iDoHunting.com logo stitched on the chest. The Winner of this prize is: Coppertop

    The 3rd Place Winner in the Hunter Division will receive A Quaker Boy Game Call donated by IDO Hunting Pro Staffer Joel Nelson. The Winner of this prize is: Johnsy

    The GRAND PRIZE Winner for the Best Overall Photo and Story in the Jr. Hunter Division (16 Years & Under) will receive a Gamehide Youth Journey Jacket and a set of Gamehide Youth Journey Pants(overall retail value of $119.90 for the set). The Winner of this prize is: Nittany Lion / Nolan

    The 2nd Place Winner in the Jr. Hunter Division will receive a $50 Cabelas Gift Card donated by Markquart Chevrolet and Skeeter Boat Center out of Chippewa Falls, WI. The Winner of this prize is: Sootie / Katie

    The 3rd Place Winner in the Jr. Hunter Division will receive a Quaker Boy Game Call donated by IDO Hunting Pro Staffer Joel Nelson. The Winner of this prize is: GlennR / Matt

    Everyone that submitted a photo and story for the Contest that did not win the Grand Prize, were automatically entered into a drawing for the following BONUS PRIZES:

    Well if that ain’t the coolest thing that happened to me all day!

    Thanks to Rob and Brad and the rest of the IDO crew!!!! You guys Rock! This has always been my favorite site! A huge thanks to GAMEHIDE for the generous prize donation! I’ve never had matching camo before …..and my current bibs suck! I’ll put em through the grind this spring. Hope they can hold up to some nasty South Dakota mud, because it’s gonna be soupy out there! I’ll come back with an in-depth review towards the middle of April.

    And a BIG THANKS to my Dad and good buddy Steve Sherry for draggin my butt out to NoDak for the last how many years……and for putting up with my strict photo coaching!
