    Congrats the new shack!

Hmmm… a MN resident mentioning that he’ll be fishing on Super Bowl Sunday… how long until a Packer fan hijacks this post???

I can’t believe the retailers don’t have the option to have the shack assembled. I would have paid for it.

(As A Bears Fan) I chose to spend My super bowl last year on the Ice with the Game on the Radio. Lake to myself, and I think 1/2 of MN heard me on the opening kick off. ( I also told my buddies they could come hang out. I let them in the Clam if they Brought some Barley water, or Buffalo Wild Wings! 28 more years and I may get to do it again.

Bring it over, with a 12 pack. I love tinkering on stuff like this in the garage this time of year.

Ya right, I’ll come over your wife’s water breaks and I’ll still have to put it together myself.

    Hey guys,

Kind of a long shot here but I figured I would ask. Has anyone had any experience hunting in Norway?

The reason why I ask is my girlfriend is from Norway and her mother still resides there. We plan on visiting this year for Christmas, and my girlfriend has a couple of friends that would be willing to take me out on a moose or reindeer hunt during my stay.

I’ve researched the internet for information on hunting in Norway, but it seems little is available. If anyone has information on License cost, customs requirement, season dates, etc, please let me know.

I am hoping this all comes together. I see this as a once in a lifetime hunt. I am pretty sure that all I want for Christmas is to put a G5 through Rudolph.

That does sound like a trip of a lifetime. Good luck Justin and keep us up to date on how the quest continues.

Definately keep us in the loop. My wife has a good friend in Norway. She’s always bugging me about going to visit her. I told her if I can catch fish or shoot something while I’m there, I’ll go in a heartbeat.

If you’ve got people over there who will take you hunting, can’t you ask them all the details about licensing, etc?

The couple of people that my girlfriend would line me up with to go hunting with are not fluent in English. This means that to get my questions answered, I would have to use my girlfriend as a translator, and she would probably have no idea what the heck I am talking about.

I will keep everyone posted as to how this takes shape. I am looking for an opportunity to harvest a Reindeer with my bow. From my understanding, I would also be able to hunt Norweigan moose during my stay as well.

    BINGO!

Now I can make some real progress. I’ll get back to everyone once I read through the regs and learn a little more about this opportunity.

Guided a hunter a few years back from Norway…They drive game a lot and have some pretty strict skill testing to obtain a hunting licence. He had to make 50-100M running shots with his rifle!
Better check into the regs…Sounds like a great opportunity!
