“Thanks for your email. It is true that as of June 29, 2009 the Bear/Primos Licensing Agreement was canceled. It was a mutual decision to end the agreement. Since then we have been working to fill the sponsorship hole that opened. We are happy to announce that starting January 2010 Mathews has decided to sponsor both Primos TRUTH About Hunting and Primos TRUTH About Whitetails on the Outdoor Channel. We are very excited about this new opportunity.

Thanks again and good luck this season.

Brooks and Keith brought over a favorable relationship with Matthews when Primos purchased Double Bull. Beyond that, I have no idea!

During “Another Year on the Ground 9”, the DB boys shoot a Bear. All vids previous they were big Matthews guys. Now I guess it’s back to Matthews. I’m guessing they didn’t have a choice as to what they shot in the videos.

well if they are sponsored im pretty sure they have to use the product in the video otherwise they get questioned I know chris ashley shoots a bowtech in the truth 14 or truth 3 bowhunting i believe on a MS hunt. Other than that hunt i have always seen them shoot Bear. Before Bear they were on PSE which is Bear but im surprised they didn’t go back to PSE and shoot the X-force or Bow Madness…but Drury is already shooting them
I bet its a little more complicated than we think

It’s not complicated, until this point they were just making it complicated. They finally figured it out,

Let me ask everyone this simple question…does it really matter what “they” shoot? Each individual is going to shoot what feels and works best for them…right??

Look no further than your one and only IDO prostaffer…JOEL! I believe he is still using a log thrower from the 70’s!!

Killing thru blunt-force going on 8 years now!!! I’ve killed alot of animals with that bow, but it might be time to upgrade.

I think that we’re all interested for a couple reasons. First off, the behind-closed-doors drama that goes on in the fishing/hunting industry always seems to be juicy for alot of people. Also, I think most people are genuinely interested in using the best equipment possible. While that’s always up for debate, we come to “know” and “trust” these TV personalities and want to use what they’re using. I’m not saying that’s good OR bad, but it’s the tendency I think most people have.

I totally agree Live4passthrough On the other hand, sponsors give spokespeople their equipment for good reason… I like to look at it this way… there are alot of people who will use a product, just because of the endorser… Dale Jr. comes to mind…. sales of AMP to rednecks, shot through the roof, after his sponsor change in NASCAR. It is a proven fact, some people will be swayed by who is pushing the product, or you would never hear mention of “what” they used to have a successful hunt. I am not swayed by spokespeople, I am like you and pick whats best for me, as I am sure most on IDO do. I will however, speak well for something, that works for me and vice versa when it does not.
