Sorry to hear that. I havent had any one do the hit and run. However, my old man called me this fall to tell me he found my black lab in the yard. Some one during the night had shot him in the stomach and took off, leaving him to bleed out the next two farms on my road also had shell casing at the end of the driveway and around the mail boxes.

Very sorry to hear about Curly. I’m sure he is having a great time up in doggy heaven.

You know what they say…every door that closes another one is opened. Get yourself another buddy and create some new memories!

Very sorry to hear the loss of your dog Chris. Try not to make sense of a senseless act and keep your focus on the memories that you and Curly shared together.

So sorry to hear about your dog Curly! Our dog was hit by a car several years ago and the driver did not stop. Although our dog turned out to be ok, it would’ve been nice for the driver to make sure of that instead of driving away!

My advice is to not focus on the driver. It was an accident and any number of things could explain why the driver didnt stop. We all live by roads and they are a risk to our animals. All we can do is try to keep them safe and hope it doesnt happen. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Wow tear jerker, Im very sorry to hear about your loss. We have a yellow lab and a bernese mountain dog. They both got out this winter and that was my biggest fear. I will never understand how someone could drive off from something like this regardless of the situation. Our dogs are like children to me and my wife. Since our dogs got out my wife and I made a commitment that if we ever see a dog on the loose to make our best effort to help them home. My thoughts are with u in this hard time.
