Can a person sell a waterfowl mount???

    Just wondering if anybody knows the legalities of selling a duck mount at a garage sale. Years ago my friends and I would get together for duck hunting a couple times a year. I had a mount done of a wood duck and now I’m over waterfowling and my brother is having a garage sale and I was thinking of including it in his sale just to get rid of it. Does federal law prohibit this being it was a wild duck? Thanks in advance, Randy

    I’ve seen that mount. I don’t think you have to worry about anyone buying it!

    The attachment looks as though it applis to the one perfoming the actual taxadermy. I would call the DNR to see if a private party sale is OK.
