After much, much, much deliberation with my wife; along with a lot of hemming and hawing, I came to the decision to just let my truck go back to the dealer at the end of my lease, instead of buying it out. 2005 3/4 ton diesel/only 32,000 miles basically it was a great truck. But, like a lot of you guys the contruction industry, my pay checks were just not warrenting me buying it out. Anyway, long story longer…..when we went to leave the dealer on Saturday, my 4-1/2 year old boy just started bawling. ” I want my truck, daddy” Talk about cute and sad all in one. Gonna miss that truck and apparently so is Isaac. Come on people start building some houses again

Sorry to hear that your truck lease is up… but it sounds like you made the right family decision based on the current conditions. Pretty cute that Isaac correlated that it was HIS truck!

BTW – I did my part and built a new home last year…

Unless you were off’d a great buy out price? I’m sure you can buy a new one or different one that is equivalent for a better price. The market is in the buyer’s favor right now more then ever

Thats sad to hear your son not wanting to let your truck go..Hopefully you will get a replacement soon and you guys can take it out on a spin together and get a little mud on the tires…Hang in there the housing market will bounce back….Jay
