Great find. As my wife and I hit the woods tomorrow looking for long beards, we’ll be keeping an eye out for mushrooms as well.

I just got off the phone with my catfishing friend George and he says thier finding them like crazy the last couple days. He said one guy got 5 pounds, another 3 pounds and a couple others with some in a sack each. I got permission to hunt an acreage of a friend of Georges across the road from him and nobodys been hunting there yet and thier finding them all around this guys place so it should be good. He said thier finding them as big as pop cans and the biggest hes seen was around 6″. He said if I come out and don’t have any hes going to take me to the hospital and get my head examined lol, George knows im an old mushroom hunter anyway. Should be a good day shroom hunting and then were going to go for chubs and it will be our first time on the water this year ditty poleing for catfish, mushrooms and ditty poleing what a day. I’ll post some pics if I get any.
